Metro State is Rising

Metro State is embarking on a new era of improved student services and an expanded community profile. Students will be asked during the April elections to invest in the College by voting on a student fee that will eliminate the registration run-around, do away with classrooms in trailers and build a neighborhood on campus designed specifically with Metro State students in mind.

State Budget Crisis

Metro State is moving forward with the student fee for the first building of the neighborhood. However, as I promised the student body at yesterday’s SGA meeting, if the higher ed funding crisis is not solved, we will drop the fee. If the state does not restore funding to higher ed, we would not have such a critical space problem, and our enrollment could be reduced dramatically.
