03.29.2009: Audio interview - conversation about the Metro State Neighborhood
Listen to this audio interview (4:54) between former Student Government Assembly president and political science major Aaron “Jack” Wylie, associate professor of Communications David Kottenstette and former SGA Chief Justice and recent graduate Kevin Harris about the Metro State Neighborhood concept.
Aaron “Jack” Wylie was elected Student Government Assembly president as a sophomore and served three terms – a record tenure at Metro State. His support for the Neighborhood resulted from the time he spent in leadership, getting to know the college’s assets as well as its challenges. Now 23 and about to graduate with a major in political science and a minor in women’s studies, Wylie has started the lobbying firm Beacon Inc. with Metro graduate Kevin Harris. As a seventh-generation Arvadan, Wylie has an innate love of Colorado politics. “When everyone else is in Cancun on spring break, I’m at the legislature watching the budget process.”
